Some theories say that dogs domesticated themselves. All dogs are decedents of wolfs but the least shy and cutest of them were welcomed into human families, for that the dogs gave man a preliminary warning of an approaching predator.

It is our duty as human beings to care for domesticated pets as we care for the poor and the hopeless, and the hopelessly adorable puppies.

My sister just adopted a pit mix. He's a 25 pound cuddlebug, and will likely be a 65-pound cuddlebug within the next few months. I wonder how he'll get along with our pug.

Mines not too great with other dogs (likely a throwback to her bait dog days) but I hear they get along decently well. They tend to not know their size, hence why they think it's acceptable to sit on your lap at 60+ lbs...
